?Why Uman

What really can be so interesting in a Ukrainian suburb called Uman? Why so many people are coming there every year? What did they find there? And why some of them keep coming to Uman all the time?
Ukraine is one of the biggest counties of Europe and it has one of the most ancient history. It seemed like the whole world have been there this year sharing the Euro-2012 experience. The county was brushed, combed and perfurmed so it looks ready to meet new guests from all over the world.
After landing in Borispol airport many of the visitors are opening there maps and wallets to the nearest cab-drivers so they would take them to one of the most popular Ukrainian sights, Uman city.
Coming to Uman it’s impossible to omit Sofiyivsky Park. The park was founded in 1796 by Count Stanislav Pototskiy for his dear wife Sofiya, it was her birthday present. Now it’s one of the most beautiful places of all the country.
Hundreds of different plants, trees and flowers skillfully combined together with the small pond have made this park the place you would hardly forget.

But leaving the park and following usual Ukrainian streets we’re finding ourselves in a very strange place. Suddenly we are looking around and starting to stare at mini-Bney Brak. Somehow we got to a very unusual place that is difficult to mix up with any other. Yes, we are standing in the middle of Rabbi Nachman’s grave. Here you can see the spiritual beauty.

Rabbi Nachman was the founder of the Breslov Hassidic movement and he was buried in Uman and now praying there have helped lots of people to find the right way in their life and helped them out.
